The Power Of Following Your Passion
By Josh Hinds

"Never underestimate the power that comes from following your passion."

Please read that statement again?
And
"Never...
underestimate...
the power that comes...
from following your passion."

I stand amazed at the power of passion in action. I love it when I witness a strong desire that generates consistent, focused action. It energizes me!

Take William Hung.

Don't be surprised if you have not heard of him. Many have, and I would dare say many have not.

So who is William?

He was a contestant on the reality TV show American Idol.

A SHORT SHOT OF WILLIAM'S STORY

William didn't make the final cut. He was a member of the "winning team" so-to-speak. At least that is what I have heard.

You see, I didn't actually see the show! But I did hear about it and that is what fascinates me.

On more than one occasion I heard people relate how William reacted after he was told he couldn't sing or dance.
People took note of his response, which I am told went something like this: "I have tried my best, and I have no regrets."

HOLD ON TO THAT THOUGHT

"I have tried my best, and I have no regrets."

I love that statement! It is simple, straight forward and inspiring.

But?

That isn't the end of the story. William kept going.

His passion fueled additional action.

He is continuing to sing, make appearances and has his own website. In short, he is "making it."

He is following his passion one day at a time. And doing the same the next day.
And the next.

THANKS, WILLIAM

William, I congratulate you.

I congratulate you for having the courage to pursue your dreams. I thank your for being an inspiration to me.

All of us thank you.

Thank you for showing us that the passionate pursuit of a dream is a worthwhile venture.

I say it one more time?
"Never underestimate the power that comes from following your passion."

Yours in success,

Josh Hinds
