Am I insane or is this "Drive"?

Do you sleep in on the weekends? When I worked my 9-5 job I would hear it all the time from coworkers.."I get to sleep in tomorrow". I can honestly say that I don't sleep in. You would think with working from home (set your own hours) that it would be very easy to take a couple hrs of extra sleep. Every day, including Saturdays and Sundays I wake between 6.30 and 7 am est as a rule, and I just don't wake up and then park my behind on the couch to watch tv... I get my tea and get doing something. My body is programmed to this routine. Here's how my day starts.. I get out of bed, put the kettle on for a cup of tea, while that is boiling I let the dog out in the back yard and start my computer. After letting the dog in, I call up to my girls to get up for school and then grab my tea to go read my emails from overnight.

When I look back to my childhood I realize that on the weekend I would also get up early to get my chores done, so then I can have the rest of the day to do as I please (with my parents permission that is) .

I like getting a JUMP START to my day! This allows me to get whatever I set out to get done, accomplished and not set aside for another day.

My wife probably thinks I'm crazy for not sleeping in on a lazy Sunday morning, but imagine how peaceful the backyard is for catching up on my reading when the rest of the neighborhood
is still in bed!

Do you sleep in on the weekend or your day "OFF"!

Before I go I also wanted to say..I hate alarm clocks! I've never used one and don't think I ever will. No matter what time I have to wake up, to be somewhere..I'm never late! Why do I hate alarms? ??

Have a good Night!
